Peter Pan Peanut Butter “Spreading Childhood Magic”

– Jun 04, 2010

Knowing that 1 out of 5 children struggles with hunger in America, Peter Pan Peanut Butter has kicked off the “Spreading Childhood Magic” campaign.

A special interactive microsite can be accessed through the Peter Pan Peanut Butter website at (go to website and click on “Charitable Giving”). Through the microsite children and parents enter into a storybook experience of learning about childhood hunger and how they can help fight childhood hunger in their communities.

Participants are encouraged to:
- Pack a peanut butter sandwich as part of their lunch and donate the money they save to Feeding America.
- Organize neighborhood food drives to benefit their local food banks.
- Find out from their local food banks how they may be able to volunteer for the hunger-relief cause in their communities.

Beginning in January, 2010, the campaign will be promoted on packaging of Peter Pan Peanut Butter and through shelf signage in stores. Peter Pan Peanut Butter is a ConAgra Foods brand. ConAgra Foods has committed a donation of $200,000 to the National Office through this promotion.
